The ROOST
Welcome to the ROOST (Rural Operations Optimization & Systems Trial). We are part of Questr Automation LLC, and we focus exclusively on advanced farming tools and techniques. With many partners, we are building a farm automation pilot program (ROOST). Three-to-five lucky farming families in Hardy County will have the chance to implement five-to-seven major automations over the course of the 18-month pilot. The ROOST II
The ROOST II is a continuation of the ROOST Farm Automation Program, except with a different cohort of participants. This program will be limited to disabled veteran farmers who are interested in automating their operations. The setup is the same. 3-5 veteran farmers will implement 5-7 major automations each over the course of the 18-month pilot. This program is currently limited to Hardy County & Hampshire County residents. It may expand beyond these two counties depending on demand.
